We would like to conclude with a statement of a participant. She reflects on the border between organisms and environment(s), self and non-self, us and them, "ego" and "alter", inside and outside where she says that "… stuff is going in and out of our body, our skin, sweat and everything. We keep exchanging stuff with the environment, with air, the wind … we need breath air. So everything is part of us … except that we only feel our body, we don't feel the rest, but is part of us …" Similar to her difficulties to draw a line between the organism and environment (Oyama, S., 1985), and to feel "the rest" of the environment around "us", we, on the other side, do not perceive or feel how social knowledge is and that "no matter how convincing his or her 'own' knowledge might appear to the individual, no individual conscious knowledge can be isolated…" (Luhmann, N. 1992)
